The Dash Express Tool for APC Parcels is owned and managed by Dash Group (SW) Limited (‘we’ or ‘us’ or ‘our’). As this product is designed to help you manage your depot pricing and prospect new customers, you need to provide us with certain information.
Customer Information. In order to produce customer proposals you must provide us with information about your new customers. This includes their name, address, collection times and pricing.
Depot Information. When producing customer proposal documents, you are required to enter information about your depot which is included in the output documents. This includes: depot name, depot address, employee contact information, credit terms, standard rates and new sales incentives.

1.2 Information we collect when you.

When you use the Dash Express Tool for APC Parcels, we collect information about how you use it to help keep the platform secure.

• Usage Information.We collect information about your activity on Dash Express Tool for APC Parcels, including: Data Creation/Modification timestamps.
• Device Information. We collect information from and about the devices you use to access Dash Express Tool for APC Parcels, including: Information about your connection, such as your IP address and browser type.
• Location Information.When you use Dash Express Tool for APC Parcels, we collect some information about your approximate location in order to identify the location of your nearest APC depot.

As part of Dash Express Tool for APC Parcels, we provide the zone maps, input fee calculations and depot maps functionality. In order to provide this, we use the postcode coverage list provided by APC (mapping each postcode district to a depot and zone).

2.1 To prevent unauthorised access.

We use information we collect to monitor suspicious activity in order to prevent authorised access to depot information and to suspend accounts we believe are being used for malicious purposes.

2.2 Addition of new services & bug fixing

We use the information we collected to measure how many depots/users are using our platform and specifically what features they are using. This allows us to make continual improvements to the platform and to understand which features to develop further.

 

3. Sharing Information

Your information is shared with others in the following ways:

3.1 With other users.

When you create a customer proposal or a new depot rate for a particular depot, then all other users with permission to access this depot can also see this information. Individual users can be configured to access 1 or more depots with the following permission flags for each depot:

• can_view_customer_proposals
  • This dictates whether the user can view the list of customer proposals created in associated with the depot.
• can_create_customer_proposals
  • This dictates whether the user can create new customer proposals in associated with the depot.
• can_view_customer_rates
  • This dictates whether the user can view the details of existing pricing rates that are associated with the depot.
• can_create_customer_rates
  • This dictates whether the user can create new pricing rates that are associated with the depot.
• can_modify_customer_rates
  • This dictates whether the user can modify existing pricing rates that are associated with the depot.

Depots should specify the different permissions they wish to use for each of their user accounts when requesting initial access to the service.

3.2 With service providers.

We may share your information with our hosting provider in order to assist with any potential performance issues and to ensure that adequate hardware resources are assigned to our server.

3.3 When required by law.

We may share your information with the relevant law enforcement agencies when required by law.

 

4. Data Retention

We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide our services, or until your account is deleted.

We keep different types of information for different periods of time, depending on how long we need to retain it in order to provide you with our products and services, to comply with our legal requirements and for safety and security reasons. For example:

• We keep your account details and depot information for the duration of your account. We cannot provide you with our products and services without retaining this information.
• We keep your depot rates and customer information until such content is removed, or until you close your account.
• We keep your usage information, such as your interactions with our system for the duration of your account.

We may need to keep certain information longer than our policies specify in order to comply with legal requirements and for safety and security reasons.

 

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access any information that we processes about you and to request information about:

• What personal data we hold about you
• The purposes of the processing
• The categories of personal data concerned

If you believe that we hold any incomplete or inaccurate data about you, you have the right to ask us to correct and/or complete the information and we will strive to correct it as quickly as possible; unless there is a valid reason for not doing so, at which point you will be notified.
